The Southeast Volusia Habitat for Humanity Repair Program provides critical home repairs for income-qualified homeowners in our service area. Our service area is limited to New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill, FL.

Eligibility is based on income limits, homeownership status, and funding availability. SEV Habitat Repair Program is an interest free loan program designed to assist with unexpected or critical repairs. When grant funds are available homeowners in low-income households may be awarded assistance. This is not guaranteed. We are unable to advise whether an applicant is eligible for grant funds before all documents are received and reviewed.

All documentation must be completed and received by our office before the file is submitted to our Repair Committee for review and approval. Many of our repairs are completed by volunteers and therefore can have an extended timeline. We work within their availability. Health and safety repairs are prioritized and scheduling could be delayed.
SEV Habitat repair coordinators work diligently to communicate with applicants regarding timelines and expectations as part of our commitment to our community. We welcome questions at any time in the process.
