On Saturday, October 27, at 1PM, we will dedicate a recycled home! This house will be home to Sharraine Bembo and her son, Shane. Sharraine has worked at WalMart for 10 years and has lived in New Smyrna Beach for over 20 years. Owning her own home has been a personal goal for Sharraine. In her words, “the work of Habitat for Humanity is a blessing from God”. She and her son have invested more than 350 hours of “sweat equity” working along side Habitat volunteers.
The home she selected was Habitat’s eleventh home. One of the original owners has passed and the other is no longer able to live alone. We are thrilled to be able to update this home and breathe new life into the community.Sharraine invites all to join her as she celebrates this great accomplishment at the dedication open house. And if you can’t make it, we invite you to ride by, wave, and take a look at what you helped build!
