Fordham University Collegiate Challenge

Fordham University Collegiate Challenge Spring break 2015
From 16 to 21 March, thirteen post graduate law students from Fordham University, coordinated by student leader Arian Raymondo, joined us to help complete the build of our beautiful home on Duss Street. With them came Tom Schoenherr, Assistant Dean for the Public Interest Center at the university, and Alan and Marilyn force, retired administrators and alumni. All three have worked at numerous Habitat Collegiate Challenges, and Tom has been part of 23!

More than half of the students have worked at different Habitat affiliates, doing a variety of volunteer jobs. All of the group came here because of their dedication to Habitat, and love of outdoor, physical work.

The weather remained beautiful throughout the week, and the students were able to enjoy the beach, local restaurants, and the St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Flagler Avenue.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and hard work, Fordham!
