COLLEGIATE CHALLENGE, Spring 2020, with Muhlenberg College.

Spring Break 2020 Collegiate Challenge began with a visit from Muhlenberg College. This is the second time the college has visited us,  bringing 13 ladies with great ambition to build, and endless energy to get the job done. They did an amazing amount of work over five days on the future home of Ben Dannemiller,  at 104 Canal Road, and began framing 10 Pine Brook Drive, future home of the Price family.

The group enjoyed residing in the comfortable Habitat dorm in Edgewater, and when not building , enjoyed local restaurants, ice cream shops, shopping  and the beach.

We really hope this college will choose to return for the 2021 Collegiate Challenge. It was awesome getting to know the girls, and the Habitat staff and volunteers, as well as future home owners, really enjoyed meeting and working with them.

Thank you for all your help, Muhlenberg!

Kayaking at Cracker Creek. Volunteer Mike Meade accompanies the group.
